Areas used by smokers can often become messy and unattractive, with unsightly cigarette butts littering the ground. Furnitubes have responded to this problem with the introduction of a range of ash waste bollards.
The Smoke King is cleverly designed to cut off the air supply to burning cigarettes that are placed within it, thus extinguishing them without the need for an external ‘stubber’ plate. The product has been designed to sympathetically blend in with existing bollards and architecture, and is available in a floor or wall fixed version. Both designs are fully lockable.
Furnitubes range has been extended for 2006 with the introduction of some stunning new stainless steel ash waste containers. The Zenith root-fixed bin is the same size as our standard ZEN451 bollard, and the Ashby is part of a growing family of products that incorporate a square hole pattern, enabling seamless integration of products within a scheme. Stainless steel resists damage from stubbed cigarettes and from the elements. It is virtually maintenance-free, requiring only a regular clean to remove ash and dirt. All designs are fully lockable.
