Solid, Durable, Low Maintenance Concrete Litter Bins

Concrete litter bins are solid and durable, combining the benefits of low maintenance and replacement costs.

The bins are often selected for areas where vandalism is common since the exposed aggregate finish is difficult to deface and the material weathers naturally. Bins, such as the Salop, pictured here, are available with a polyethylene canopy. Logos and crests can be added where appropriate.

Drainage holes are provided through the base of each unit and these may be used for permanent ground fixing if required. Additional holes can be added upon request.

All pre-cast concrete litter bins are supplied complete with a plasticised wire basket of robust construction and feature a sheet metal base to prevent the loss of litter through the wire mesh. It is possible to secure the basket to the bin by means of a security chain if required.

To attract sponsorship to any given scheme it may be advisable to invite commercial business or local traders to sponsor Furnitubes litter bins. Signs and plaques can be manufactured to advertise sponsors who may pay for the bins outright or on a contract basis.
