Furnitubes grit and salt bins are able to survive the hottest summers and the most severe winters. They are manufactured from glass reinforced plastic. Since they are not affected by extreme weather conditions the bins have proved to be more durable than those constructed from polyethylene and therefore more cost effective.
Virtually maintenance free, the bins have also been used to store tools, litter, animal feed, fire equipment, etc. The waterproof lid is able to keep the contents dry in adverse conditions and thoughtful design enables two units to be sited back to back with both lids opening freely.
These bins are specified by a number of councils and supermarket chains. Available in yellow as standard and other BS or RAL colours at an additional cost, the bins may be produced with logos or motifs for enhanced corporate identity.
