Materials & Finish
Post are manufactured in cast iron and supplied in a primed finish as standard. Panels are in steel and supplied in a galvanised finish.

We recommend that top coats are applied on site after installation.

DESCRIPTION

The Reigate cast iron rail barriers are often selected for its aesthetic qualities for the reason that cast iron gives a timeless elegance to towns and heritage areas.

Cast iron is corrosion resistant and therefore ideal for seafronts, piers, marinas and canals where a low maintenance system is required. Public safety is paramount and careful positioning of post & rail directs pedestrians away from danger especially at roadside, waterside or other high-risk areas.

The Reigate post has been designed specifically to accommodate a variety of rail systems. Full, 3/4 or 1/2 guardrail, 3-rail, 2-rail and trip-rail. This diversity allows a variety of options for multiple applications within the same general area.

Furnitubes cast iron railings are recommended with bent corners. This allows any angle to be achieved instead of the standard 90 degrees. This arrangement also allows for easy replacement if damaged as the post is more likely to remain intact.
