Wet Spray

In general, Furnitubes’ cast products are supplied in a primed finish and we recommend that they are painted on site, to avoid damage during handling and transit. When required, painting can be carried out in our own in-house spray booth facilities allowing for a quick turn around and the ability to cater for special requests. Full range of RAL & BS colours as standard.

1. One coat Cromadex series 585 water based primer
2. Two coats Cromadex 222 decorative finish

Colour Range
Furnitubes Wet Spray is available in the full range of RAL and BS4800 colours. The European RAL and British BS systems are a convenient way of specifying exterior paints. Swatches are available from most paint suppliers and they enable specifiers to ensure that the colours are consistent within a scheme.

Maintenance
Check coatings twice a year and wipe away any dirt with a damp cloth and light detergent. 'Harsh' cleansers may be used, although not on a regular basis as they may effect gloss level. Repaint damaged or worn areas and consider a complete regular maintenance re-paint every 2-3 years as below.

On-site Damage Repair
Should any painted product have their finish damaged, it can be repaired using the following method:

1. Flatten paint surface with a fine Scotch-Brite Pad.
2. Leave to stand for 24hours to allow excess solvents to evaporate.
3. Overcoat with Cromadex 233 Brush and Roller Decorative Finish (2 coats recommended).
