Health & Safety
As these products are large and heavy, good lifting and transporting practices should be adopted to protect the installer and members of the public. Hand and foot protection must be used when carrying out these practices.

To ease handling, Furnitubes concrete benches are suitable for strop lifting. Lifting eyes have been fitted to the Marlborough bench since strop lifting is unavailable.

General Maintenance
An annual clean will keep the surface looking vibrant. Clean with water and mild detergent or a low pressure hose with a flat-fan nozzle to help pry off surface dirt. Degreasers and chemical cleansers are available for more stubborn grime - see below for specific maintenance actions.

Exposed Aggregate Finish
Furnitubes exposed aggregate finish features Hemington stones that has relatively round edges to produce a smooth surface.
• Wipe down with a damp cloth or non-metallic brush
• Detergents, cleansers and other cleaning agents are all suitable
• ‘Harsh’ cleanser may also be used occasionally

Charcoal, White, Grey & Yorkstone
Benches can be supplied with a smooth cast prestige finish in the natural colours listed above.

• A re-polish may be required with the aid of a surface wax
