Cast Iron Security Bollards

General Notes

Installation
For the best protection of a building, bollards should be installed no less than 1.3m from the fascia to be protected. The distance from centre to centre of bollards should not exceed 1.25m.

Foundation
We recommend a minimum foundation size of 600 x 600 x depth. Root depths are shown on the illustrations. Concrete foundations to be at least 25 Newtons.

Product Codes are in bold type. Dimensions are in mm, are approximate and do not form any part of the contract.

Note 1

Primer Finish
Primer Finish. We recommend that top coats are applied after installation.

Note 2

Security Core
Supplied with a loose heavy-duty reinforced steel core in a primer finish, that increases impact resistance and foundation anchoring.

Note 3

HSC High Security
The reinforced steel core of the high security version is bonded inside the bollard by a special A20 concrete mix that impedes abuse from cutting tools.

A heavy-duty welded steel mesh in a mill finish is also supplied loose. This improves anchoring within foundations. Replace product code SC with HSC to specify this option.
