A different, more colourful side to London
The Furnitubes team recently took some time out of the office to explore the vibrant and diverse streets of the East End. The team embarked on a walk that showed fascinating, original pieces of street art from painted chewing gum on the pavements to sculptured hens under railway arches.
The tour took turns through some of the East End's most decorative back roads, offering an insight into the cultures and secrets of London's inhabitants. The variety of artwork on show was astounding and captured everyone's imagination. Reputable street artists including Banksy, Stik and Roa were noted on the tour, with their unique work being highlighted throughout. As well as the more recognisable pieces there were also equally amazing unusual pieces of art scattered throughout the tour.
Everyone in the team thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable day out in the capital. Not only did the art inspire and astound, it also offered and insight into the diverse cultures living together in London today.
