Case Study - Marks and Spencer, Wolstanton
Marks and Spencer opened their doors to a flagship £40 million store in Wolstanton in November. Business experts described the launch of the new M&S as 'one of the biggest retail events since the opening of the Potteries Shopping Centre'.
As part of M&S's Plan A strategy, this is the first store to have an M&S community room that can be used by individuals and businesses to use for conferences and meetings. The store will commit six days per year to training local businesses and community members.
Furnitubes supplied over three hundred Zenith stainless steel bollards for installation around the car park, all fitted with reflective tape to enhance visibility and create a safe environment for drivers and pedestrians alike.
Matching Zenith seats and litter bins were installed around the building envelope to provide exterior rest areas for visitors and workers, together with a number of Fin cycle stands designed to encourage cycling as a safe and secure mode of transport to the retail park.
