Project details:
Bridgewater Gardens is a new development of one, two and three bedroom apartments, located on the bank of New River, at a former suburban industrial site next to Rye House train station in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

There are two residential blocks facing onto a shared courtyard comprising expansive planting beds and a network of paths and steps. Gabions have been used as retaining structures to accommodate the changing levels across the site, and to flank the paths and protect the planting beds. Furnitubes’ Lapa bench platforms have been employed on a number of the gabion walls to provide cost-effective and comfortable seating provision for the residents.
