Project Details

King Street in Hammersmith, is a bustling city shopping street popular for its variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. At the heart of the highstreet lies Livat, which was previously known as Kings Mall before being acquired by IKEA’s parent company Ingka Centres.  Since the acquisition, the centre has undergone a range of improvements to provide a more inviting and inclusive meeting place for locals.

As part of the regeneration works, a brand new, first-of-its-kind IKEA showroom store opened, located in the newly refurbished Livat shopping mall. In addition, a separate cycling path has been built along Kings Street. Since there is considerable footfall along Kings Street, the requirement for street furniture meant it needed to be durable enough to withstand frequent usage, and also fit with IKEA and Livat’s branding.
